2018: P.E. LABELLERS PRESENTS THE NEW ERA ON THE LABELLING FRONT

PE Labellers -

In Milan, from 29 May to 1 June 2018, P.E. Labellers and Packlab will present themselves at Ipack-Ima together as usual, with a single stand – C15-D12 in Hall 14 – where the new range of MODULAR labellers by P.E. Labellers will be presented to the Italian market. The machines are for medium-low speeds, designed according to new machine control platforms with control of highly automated production features.

A whole series of models designed according to the concept of a ‘centralised machine’, with new electronics, more versatile and performing, and with new run-up orientation systems. Namely, the machine on display will be fitted with a system featuring orientation sensors for capsules, brands on glass surfaces and UV notches.
Moreover, the labelling machine will be fully in line with Industry 4.0 standards, the true technological revolution in terms of methods of use, maintenance and management of productivity with cutting-edge tools, connected to devices such as tablet PCs and smartphones, fitted with specific apps. In particular, the augmented reality system installed on the Modular machine uses an iPad with a dedicated app that allows the operator to frame the machine, monitor its operating status, and display any alarms, signals or maintenance to be carried out. With this device, the inside of the electrical cabinet – which in this case is built into the machine – can also be viewed to check its status without having to stop the machine and actually open the cabinet. This enabled us to reach extremely high levels in terms of ease of use and operator interaction: all within your fingertips.

The stand will also feature the EASY model of the linear self-adhesive labeller by Packlab suitable for speeds from 800 to 4,000 bph. The machine can label any kind of cylindrical, elliptical, rectangular and pyramidal container. This labelling machine can contain up to two labelling stations for front and rear partial labels, but it can also apply a wrap-around label on cylindrical containers. Easy has been specifically designed for manufacturers that do not necessarily need systems with high production speeds but those that can simultaneously process containers featuring different sizes for various applications, in line with Packlab's highest quality standards. Easy is fitted with MODULO 20 self-adhesive units: flexible, simple and user-friendly, it also allows to store up to 200 different label formats naming each one of them. The frame features external labelling stations to provide greater accessibility for operators both during operation and the format changeover stage. Moreover, the machine does not have any perimeter protections, but is still able to guarantee maximum operator safety thanks to the technical, mechanical and electronic solutions installed on it.
